Healing the Impact of Fatherlessness Among Men

Description:
This is an on-going support group for men designed to explore and heal the impact of fatherlessness on their relationships with self, daughters, sons, mothers, friends, intimate partners, spouses, and God. |

Objective(s):
· Explore and heal the impact of fatherlessness among men resulting from physical,emotional, and spiritual absence, abandonment, neglect, and abuse.
· Provide opportunities for healing from grief associated with growing up without present and available father.
· Recognize and understand relational patterns that stem from growing up without a present and available father.
Requirements:
· A brief interview with the therapist(s)
· A 16-week commitment
Participants must meet the following criteria:
· Male at least 16 years of age
· A fatherless son as defined by Daddy Thirst®.
Note: It is recommended that group members be currently in therapy or have previous experience in individual therapy.
